Abstract
1. This guideline is prepared for the development of a lake management plan that is based on local site conditions and the present management situation of Malaysian lake scenarios. It is expected that lakes and its catchments are of different conditions.
2. For easy and fast implementation approach, it is recommended that the managers will focus on certain common areas (areas or subject commonly occur in lake management). There are many focus areas in lake management depending on the usage and location of the lake.
