Abstract
There are three main objectives of the study:-(a)To carry out desk study on operational and closed landfills (rehabilitated or abandoned);(b)To assess the impact of leachate into the surface water and groundwater systems; and(c)To recommend remedial measures for the protection of surface water and groundwater systems.
