NAHRIM INVISIBLE LEVEE SYSTEM A New Invention For Immediate Flood Mitigation Purpose Flood is one of the major issues in the country at present. For the past few years, more frequent and serious floods were experienced in our country. Various low lying areas and major towns like Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuching, Kuantan, Kajang and Segamat were flooded. Kuala Lumpur City Centre itself recorded a series of floods in March and May 2012, April 2013 and May 2014. Last year, 2014, also ended with devastating floods in Malaysia, with Kelantan as the worst among other states to be hit. Public infrastructures such as houses, schools and hospitals were flooded while bridges, roads and rail systems were damaged. The losses due to the floods are estimated to be over RM1 billion.
