SUSTAINABLE WATER CONSUMPTION THROUGH WATER FOOTPRINTING AND WATER RISK MANAGEMENT - SUB PROJECT 4: DEVELOPMENT OF DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM (DSS) FOR WATER RISK MANAGEMENT

SIRIM offered NAHRIM as one of the Project Collaborator for Flagship DSTIN Programme titled SUSTAINABLE WATER CONSUMPTION THROUGH WATER FOOTPRINTING AND WATER RISK MANAGEMENT. Flagship DSTIN Programme Application Form has been prepared and submitted by NAHRIM under SUB PROJECT 4: DEVELOPMENT OF DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM (DSS) FOR WATER RISK MANAGEMENT on 22 August 2014. The main study objectives are 1) to establish and produce the relationship of “Water Scarcity – Water Stress – Water Risk” (spatial and temporal) which reflect socioeconomic and policy conditions and physical realities (implementation) in the context of climate change impacts on future water resource, availability and demand (use) and 2) to develop a DSS based on sub-watershed scale model of water stress indices that are generated from water projection in the context of climate change impacts on future water resource, availability and demand (use) for water risk management.
